Sunday 27 April 2025 will start the 1st edition of the Marsala Marathon, the longest race in the Olympic program. 
Marsala Marathon will give you the opportunity to run through centuries of history and culture along the full 42 kilometers and 195 meters. The running route will give to the runners one of the unique views in the world, from the beauties of the marsala’s downtown, to the Stagnone lagoon with the islands of Mozia, Isola Lunga, Isola Schola and Santa Maria and the salt pans with the windmills and Egadi’s Islands in the background. The Marsala Marathon is included in the official Fidal marathon calendar and recognized by the IAAF.
